𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆,
Last night, just when we thought we could all rest after a day’s work with our families, disaster struck all of us.
Many of us stayed awake as floodwaters continued to rise, worrying not only about our homes and belongings, but for the lives and the safety of the people we love. Some of us had to leave our homes. Others spent the night watching the water, protecting our children, checking on elderly family members, and hoping everyone would make it through safely.
This morning, many of us are now facing displaced families, damaged property, ruined belongings, thick mud, and the exhausting work of rebuilding.

The place where we usually welcome you for good food, laughter, celebrations, and time with family has also been severely affected and now, just like everyone else around us, needs to recover.
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.
It hurts to close our doors, even temporarily, but we want to make sure that when we welcome you back, Calves is once again clean, safe, and ready to be a place where our community can gather and create happier memories.
To everyone who spent last night afraid, to every family cleaning up today, and to every neighbor helping another, we see you, we stand with you, and we are praying for your safety and recovery.
If there's one thing we've learned in the last 7 years doing business here, it's that 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁.
