π¨ It's that time of the year again... π€¦ββοΈ Every first week of January, the dreaded "we are hiring" post floods our feeds π©. As a business owner, it's frustrating to see employees leave without proper resignation, no notice, nada π
ββοΈ. They just up and leave, thinking it's okay π.
But let's think about it, guys... When you needed a job, we were there for you π€. For some we hired you without questions asked, trusting you'd do your part πͺ.
Newsflash: employers aren't perfect, but we try our best π. When sales are low, we pray harder, cut costs, and do whatever it takes to keep the business afloat π. And what do we get in return? π Employees who think it's okay to just leave without thinking about the impact on the business π€―.
December is our busiest month, and it's a time to recover from lost sales over the year π. Local restaurants, like ours, get hit the hardest π. We're already struggling, and this just adds to the stress π€―.
So, to all my fellow employers, let's make a change this year π€. Let's still value our employees, but also remind them of their responsibilities πͺ. And to all employees, let's think about the owners who trusted you π€. We're humans too, you know π.
Let's make 2026 different, shall we? π
