Imagine pouring your time, energy, and resources into a small business every single day—working long hours, making sacrifices, and doing everything you can just to keep it going—only for someone to take all of it away in a matter of minutes.
At 4:55 AM today, March 10, 2026, Lennon Café was robbed.
A thief forcibly entered our café and stole our sales cash box, store phone, and tablet, amounting to total losses of more than ₱90,000, before fleeing on a motorcycle with a lookout.
That money was not easy money.
It came from early mornings, long hours, physical exhaustion, sleepless nights, and the daily struggle of trying to keep a small business alive. It came from showing up every day, even when it is hard. It came from honest work.
Small businesses do not have endless resources or large safety nets. Every sale matters. Every peso matters. Every single day is a fight to survive, support employees, pay bills, and continue serving the community.
That is why incidents like this cut so deeply. It is painful to see the fruit of honest, hard work taken so easily by someone who chose theft over decency.
Based on initial information circulating in the area, which remains subject to proper investigation and verification by authorities, the same individual may also be linked to previous theft incidents involving other establishments in recent months.
We are sharing this not only to seek justice for what happened to us, but also to warn fellow business owners and residents to remain extra vigilant, especially during early morning hours.
If anyone recognizes this person or has any information that may help identify those involved, we respectfully ask that you coordinate with the proper authorities.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to Deputy Mayor Gab Nakan, Councilor Ragde Ibuyan, Major Emmanuel Manlatican, PCMS Investigator Luzano, and everyone involved for their immediate response and assistance.
Running a small business is already difficult. Experiences like this make it even heavier. But we remain hopeful that justice will be served, and that by speaking up, we may help prevent this from happening to others.
