The name Wild Garlic is inspired by the traditional Tagalog cooking style of being liberal with the use of garlic as the main flavor and aromatic ingredient. Filipinos generally regard the aroma of food as a main criterion to how we appreciate sumptuous cooking and, hence, one food chain’s rise to prominence was started by a slogan that best captures this cultural characteristic—“langhap-sarap”. ild Garlic restaurant revives old, forgotten Tagalog recipes intertwined with exotic foreign recipes to fill the gap of what traditional culture and taste crave for.
