I am now a fully equipped politi-pal thanks to The Conscious Collective of Grade 11 - S1 ๐ฑ

All children, except some, grow up.
There were ones whoโd turn into fine adults, would nurture their minds and learn everything that was wrong with the world and then learn more to find ways to fix it.
Then there were those who never dared to learn at all, the ones who happily frolicked in their ignoranceโnever growing up, never facing the real world, and would always possess the mind of a child.
Such was the tale of Peter Pan, utterly reckless and carefree that he drags a mature young lady by the name of Wendy to Neverland.
They have their adventures like all young children do.
Peter Pan and Wendy would do silly things around, mindlessly wasting resources, making fun of the underprivileged, and even supporting unethical leadersโlike all young and immature children do. Venturing into the streets and slumps of Neverland, the two never seem to turn an eye into the harsh reality that their society is facing.
But as time passed by, the wind of maturity eventually came to Wendy.
Alas, Wendyโs good sense catches up to her. While sheโs forever in youthful bliss in Neverland, people back in the real world suffer endlessly. Observing a world where people face distressing situations, have a hard time acquiring their basic needs, and injustice and corruption are happening face-on every day. Itโs a sight she would not bear to look at indifferently.
She goes back to reality, leaving Peter behind.
โIt doesnโt matter,โ he says, distraught and missing her terribly but continuing his adventures nonetheless.
Years pass, and Wendy grows up making meaningful contributions to the world. Fully learning that the world is surrounded by politics, she gives her efforts into molding society into a pleasant place to live in. Engaging in organizations with positive advocacies, spearheading beneficial initiatives, and ensuring that she abides by the law imposed around the worldโthe young lady lives a fulfilling life, devoting all her efforts to changing the status quo for a better tomorrow.
In Neverland, Peter remains busy with childrenโs games and fighting off pirates. Life never changes for him, because how can life change for a boy who is forever a kid?
On the other hand, Wendy went through all the changes life had to offer. She reaches a ripe old age and passes away in contentment.
Why? Because she got to experience the greatest adventure of allโgrowing up.
In growing up, mentally and physically, and choosing to be conscious over naive, she was able to do something she hoped would make the world a better place.
And so from Neverland, the young lady chose to land. Land her feet on the ground, always on the service to offer help for others, while opening her eyes widely to the reality of this world. By focusing her eyes on the concerns that need to be addressed, while also seeing the goodness in things, she became the best version of herself.
She became like that of a Politi-pal.
