Who's craving for for pies?

Year 2014 when I was able to try an apple crumble pie. It was from a humble store, that sadly shut down a few years after.

From then on, I always wanted to taste it again. I was able to try different recipes. It was not easy because making the crust is quite a challenge.

But, I had vision. It kept me going until I was able to make it! And here it goes.

Doing something that is out of your comfort zone can be overwhelming. When I started my journey, I would be lying if I'll tell you that I don't have doubts. To be honest, even now, I still have those moments.

I always ask myself, what am I doing, because sometimes it doesn't make sense at all. I often need to have a space for myself. Because sometimes, pursuing your passion can burn you out too. Being on fire can burn you out. During those times, I learned the importance of trust and faith.

I trust the Divine providence to keep me. That the process that I am going through will soon reap on His time. Patience, hard work and,most importantly, trust are the things that keep me going.

There is a time for everything.

2019- I was a wanderer. I was caught up with work and felt stuck with it. I was looking for an escape, something great to do for myself. I explored watercolor painting. I even explored public speaking- Toastmasters International. I bought books that will inspire me, read lots of self-help books.

2020- I focused on my growth as a speaker and joined a competition. I also became a plant mom to my succulents. When the pandemic hit, I found a new hobby- baking. It was just a hobby, until I realized it is a costly to maintain it. Thus, I started selling baked goods.

2021- I continued my baking journey and ventured apple pies. I was also able to join my first baking workshop. It was a surreal experience. I was able to make my first cake.

As of the moment, I am growing as a baker and a learner. Life is a journey. And there is a time for everything.
