The name "Magma" was derived from the ancient Greek term "magma," which means a molten rock under the Earth's surface, one of the components of an active volcano such as Mt. Its main cuisine represents Albay, the home of the Oragons, and showcases the savor of food cooked under extreme heat and pressure. Its cuisine is a Philippine historical representation of what it means to be the home of spices. Moreover, a family in Legazpi established Magma Restaurant and Cafe on April 8, 2022. It is born out of Asian Fusion cuisine, inspired by various local Filipino dishes with a touch of foreign cuisine cooked by experienced chefs. It does not just serve native comfort food but also brews coffee that takes flavors to a new level and offers beverages of kinds. It is not just a place to eat, hang out, study, work, and celebrate but also to explore and experience diverse Asian cultures and taste the art of its cuisines, even without traveling to Asia.
