The first WOORIJIB in metro cebu inaugurated last December 28, 2019, the brach is operated by K-Foods under the flagship company MAX UNLI FOODS CORPORATION base in Quezon City, WOORIJIB Ridges Mabolo branch is the 3rd store in the Philippines that completes the company (MUFC) to put up stores in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. There will Two (2) more stores to open in Metro Cebu this year as we continue to be inspired on how the Cebuanos give us a warm welcome, they loved the food, the place and customer service. About us?

WOORIJIB – meaning “Our Home” 우리 집

The store was established in 1998 and was initially located along KalayaanAve., Diliman, Quezon City. It was managed then by our Chef Mr. Bryan T. Yandug, until such a time his Korean Boss decided to migrate back to Korea. WOORIJIB was temporary closed. It is now has been revived by another business group - MUFC

BACKGROUND:

The business group’s founder, Mr. Redian De Pedro Pableo, encouraged Chef Bryan T. Yandug to open a Korean restaurant and named it “MOKJA Korean Restaurant”. Its first branch has been located along Maginhawa St., Diliman, Quezon City. In just a span of one (1) year, the group expanded and opened its second branch along Banawe Avenue cor. Calamba St., Quezon City. Due to the stores’ success and tremendous potential, the group became inspired to expand its network of branches. The idea of reviving WOORIJIB came into being.

WOORIJB… The existing market and present competition are tight and were seen to pose a great challenge. The need to be objective in approaching this inspiration became necessary. The group conducted additional research to discover the trends that will result in better and more exciting customer experiences lasting memories without sacrificing the history of WOORIJIB. The research showed that WOORIJIB left so many wonderful experiences and memories with its customers. We then decided to revive the name of the store now called “WOORIJIB Home of Korean Buffet”.

The new WOORIJIB’s new concept will be offering authentic Korean cuisine created and engineered perfectly to capture the appetite of both Foreign and Local Customers of all generations inspired by our expert Chef Bryan T. Yandug. His cooking expertise, learned from and instilled by his Korean Boss, will be merged with the concept created by Mr. Redian De Pedro Pableo, our President & CEO. As part of MUFC’s expansion and development plans, MUFC, before the end of 2019, will open more stores in key locations, and will open the concept to franchising to potential business partners.
