Prayer for Holiness

God, we pray that you would make us holy as you are holy. God, help us to hate sin more today than we did yesterday. Help us not to be casual with sin in any way. God, make our thoughts, our desires, our words, our actions, our everything, holy, completely pleasing to you and honoring to you.

1 Peter 1: 15-16
15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a]

Morning Prayer

Lord, thank You for this day. I ask that You would guide my path today and, more specifically, my thoughts, words and actions. Please be with me throughout the day and help me navigate whatever comes my way. Most importantly, help me to reflect and live out my life in a way that is honoring to You.

We welcome you today, O Holy Spirit, into our hearts. We pray that you dwell in our hearts forever to guide our steps, our thoughts, minds, and our attitudes to the will of God. Enable us to do His will all the days of our life. With your presence in our life, may we please God in all we say and do. This I ask in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day: defend us by your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; and that, guided by your Spirit, we may do what is righteous in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gracious God,
Thank you for the gift of today.
Refresh me. Invite me to discover your presence
In each person that I meet
And every event that I encounter.
Teach me when to speak and when to listen
When to ponder and when to share.
In moments of challenge and decision
Attune my heart to the whisperings of your Wisdom.
As I undertake ordinary and unnoticed tasks,
Gift me with simple joy.
When my day goes well, may I rejoice.
When it grows difficult, surprise me with
New possibilities.
When life is overwhelming, call me to
Sabbath moments
To restore your Peace and Harmony.
May my living today reveal your Goodness.

Sabbath Day Prayer

Dear Lord, help me to make every Sabbath about you. Quiet my heart, give rest to my soul, and refocus my spirit—for true renewal comes only from you. Holy Spirit please help me to be intentional with my time and worship, and encourage me to find rest in you alone. In Jesus' name,

When shadows of doubt cross my heart…

With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I approach You today.

As Your Word in Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Just as You spoke these words to Jeremiah, I believe in Your beautiful plans for my life. Lord, in times of confusion and doubt, I seek Your guidance.

Help me to trust Your timing and embrace the path You’ve laid out for me.

As I face challenges, let me draw strength from You, knowing Your love surrounds me.

Thank You for being a God who listens to my prayers.

Deepen my faith, allowing me to anchor myself in Your promises, for Your faithfulness knows no bounds.

As I journey through life, may I radiate Your love and light to those around me, reflecting Your grace in all I do.

I offer up this prayer,

Morning Prayer

Lord God, you are perfectly faithful in everything you do. You show your faithfulness to me in caring for me, protecting me, and providing for my needs.

Forgive me for the times I question you, grumble about my circumstances, or turn my back on you.

I want to be like Moses and trust you even when I’m feeling unsure and my confidence is shaky. Show me one small way I can trust you today.

I want to declare your faithfulness with certainty to those around me so they will put their faith and trust in you. Show me who I can encourage today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving
and raise a loud shout to him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God,
