Security is a required field on the NPC form — so whatever we write there, we're signing.

🔐 Encrypted in transit and at rest, with sensitive fields encrypted one by one
🪪 Your uploaded ID isn't a public link — private, and only opened through short-lived authorised access
👤 Staff see only records they have a reason to see
📋 Every reveal of a sensitive field is logged, with a reason

And the part most companies leave out: our privacy notice has a section called "what we do not claim." We'd rather you read it from us.

📊 App usage analytics — 90 days
🔑 One-time passcodes — minutes, single use
🪪 Verification documents — deleted within 30 days of closing your account
🧾 Transaction records — 5 years, because tax law says so

These run as nightly jobs. And we monitor whether the jobs actually ran.

💡 Did you know? Keeping data "just in case" breaks the law's proportionality rule. Holding data past its purpose IS the breach.

Three principles hold up the whole Data Privacy Act:

👀 Transparency — if a screen collects it, you were told
🎯 Legitimate purpose — a real reason. "Might be useful later" isn't one
📉 Proportionality — the least data that does the job

One example: while your rider is on the way, we round their location to a rough band and only sharpen it near your door. You get a live ETA. Nobody gets a trail of where a rider has been all day.

💡 Did you know? The strongest privacy control isn't encryption — it's not collecting the thing at all.

❓ Around 13 questions each: what data, whose, why, who sees it, how long, how it's destroyed
📅 A certificate good for one year, then you renew

📣 Our fifteen entries are written, and being checked against the actual code rather than memory.

💡 Did you know? The certificate proves you filed. The programme behind it is what survives an audit.
