Today an angel came at Cantilan Food Park with her is a cake. Not in a loud, party-with-crowds kind of way, but in the quiet, powerful way that only a birthday can feel when you decide to celebrate yourself.
Turning another year older isn’t just about adding candles to the cake (though she will definitely be having one). It’s about pausing, looking back at the journey, and giving herself the love and recognition she often forget to give on ordinary days.
The Year That Was...
The past year had its mix of beautiful highs and unexpected challenges. She navigated new beginnings, faced fears she didn’t know she had, and discovered strengths she never realized were inside her. From small wins like finally sticking to a morning routine, to bigger moments of growth like learning to set boundaries or chasing a goal that once felt impossible she had come so far. The longing of a family.
There were days when she doubted herself, nights when she felt overwhelmed, and moments when she wondered if she was doing enough. But through it all, she showed up. She kept going. She chose kindness toward herself even when it was hard. That alone deserves celebration.

I hope you take a moment to celebrate yourself. You deserve it. We all do.
