🚨 SCAM ALERT — PLEASE SHARE AND STAY VIGILANT! 🚨

⚠️ BUSINESS OWNERS, CASHIERS, AND STAFF — PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

We are sharing this incident to warn other businesses and employees about this person who allegedly deceived our staff through a “change money” scheme.

The man came into our store and purchased two drinks, paying with a ₱1,000 bill. Since our staff did not have enough change, he claimed that he had a PisoNet business near our store and offered to exchange the money for smaller denominations.

He then offered our staff to provide another ₱1,000 from the store’s cash fund, saying that he would exchange the money for smaller bills and coins. The man also asked our staff to go with him to a dark alley to supposedly get the change.

Unfortunately, our staff went with him. At a certain point, our staff stopped and handed the money to the man, trusting that he would return with the smaller denominations. The man took the money and never came back.
She later realized that she had been deceived through this scheme.

🚨 MORE IMPORTANTLY, THIS INCIDENT PUT OUR STAFF IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

We strongly urge all business owners and employees:

❌ Never hand over store cash to a stranger for an unverified exchange.
❌ Never leave your workplace or go to an isolated area with someone you do not know.
❌ Do not be pressured into following unusual instructions from customers.
❌ If a transaction seems suspicious, STOP and prioritize your safety.

If you recognize this person or have experienced a similar incident, please send us a private message.

We are sharing this not only because of the money lost, but to prevent another business or employee from experiencing the same incident — or something worse.

🙏 PLEASE SHARE AND HELP KEEP OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY SAFE.

🚨 STAY ALERT. VERIFY EVERY TRANSACTION. SAFETY FIRST. 🚨

There is something beautiful about small beginnings. 💛

Sip Story may be a small café, but we believe that it’s never the size of the place that matters—it’s the love poured into every cup, every meal, and every guest who walks through our door.

We dreamed of creating more than just a coffee shop. We prayed for a place where people could pause from life’s busyness, share meaningful conversations, celebrate little victories, find comfort on difficult days, and simply feel at home.

By God’s grace, that dream became Sip Story.

Every coffee is brewed with care. Every dish is prepared with love. Every smile is genuine. And every customer who chooses us becomes part of our story.

To everyone who has supported our little café—thank you for believing that a small store can serve big flavors, create unforgettable moments, and make people feel like family.

We may be small, but our hearts are full, our passion is endless, and our faith reminds us that God often does His greatest work through humble beginnings.

Come in, grab your favorite drink, stay a little longer, and make yourself at home.

Because here at Sip Story, every sip tells a story… and we can’t wait to be part of yours. 💛☕✨

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10
