🖤 ABOUT US – La Casa De Café
La Casa De Cafe started during the pandemic in 2020 — a time that was tough for everyone, including us. We needed to find a way to earn, so we began by selling sandwiches online. Since we didn’t have our own motorcycle, I asked my sister’s husband to help with deliveries, even late at night or madaling araw. There were days when we had to borrow a motorbike or ask for help, just to get a single order delivered. Sometimes, we’d sell only one sandwich—or none at all. Eventually, we saved enough to buy a bike for deliveries and buying supplies. We’d tie up bread and iced coffee ingredients to the bike just to make it work. Slowly but surely, our small business grew, and that’s when La Casa De Cafe was born. The name La Casa De Cafe was inspired by Money Heist, which was popular during the pandemic. Since most people were stuck at home binge watching shows, we took inspiration from there. In Spanish, it means “House of Coffee”and that’s exactly what we wanted to build: a space where coffee lovers feel at home. At that time, milk tea was more popular than coffee, and there were no cafés using espresso machines in Bagong Silang Kaliwa. But we took the risk and introduced high quality coffee to our community and the response has been heartwarming. Up to this moment, La Casa De Cafe continues to grow, serving comforting drinks and giving people a cozy space to enjoy them. But this café isn’t just ours it was built with love, support, and the belief of friends and family who stood by us when we had nothing. From building the café to helping with deliveries, they were there every step of the way. So, as we keep brewing for your daily dose of coffee, we also take a moment to say Thank you. Thank you to the people who believed in us from the beginning. Thank you for being part of La Casa De Cafe.
