Last April 23, 2026, Sinag Coffee was honored to be part of something bigger โ the ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ organized by DTI MIMAROPA, held right here in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.
It was a room full of cafรฉ owners, baristas, and everyday coffee lovers โ all gathered for one purpose: to discover, evaluate, and celebrate what MIMAROPA coffee truly is.
The event was facilitated by our very own Paul Baรฑas, CQI-Certified Q Processing Professional (Level 2) โ and we couldn't be prouder. ๐
From Liberica in Romblon and Marinduque, to Robusta from Palawan, to Liberica, Robusta, and Excelsa grown right here in Oriental Mindoro โ the diversity on that cupping table told a story that's been waiting to be told.
And what makes it even more meaningful? Many of the Oriental Mindoro samples came from Indigenous Peoples communities โ the same farming communities that Sinag Coffee has always believed in and built alongside. This is exactly what Locally, Ethically, Traceably, Sustainably looks like in practice.
This is just the beginning.
DTI MIMAROPA's vision is to connect our farmers to larger markets and open doors to agri-tourism โ and we at Sinag are proud to be part of that journey from the very first cup.
Maraming salamat to everyone who showed up, slurped loudly, and believed in what MIMAROPA coffee can become. ๐ฑ
Thank you Jesus, because it's You alone who brings our labor into fruition ๐
