Lanai Restaurant is a barrio inspired eating place with nipa huts (bahay kubo) where delicious Filipino home- style freshly cooked food & beer-match/“pulutan” are served for over 15 years now. Lanai Restaurant is the new name of the previous restaurants: RJ Veranda Videoke Bar & Restaurant and RJ Seafood Lanai Restaurant located in National Highway Purok 2, Barangay Bucal Calamba which started
since. Lanai restaurant is just along the way going to Pansol and Los Banos - the summer destination in South for most tourists from Manila because of its very known natural hotsrings and private swimming pool resorts. It has a wide variety of Filipino home-style freshly cooked food from morning until dawn. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner to a wide variety of customers that includes, but, not limited to: students & teachers; businessmen, politicians, and employees in the area; tourist, motorist from and to Los Baños Laguna. The nipa-hut restaurant has become a favorite hangout place for most of the middle-aged men and up for group gatherings because of its reasonable and delicious freshly cooked pulutans and relaxing ambiance inside mini nipa huts where they can also enjoy chatting and karaoke singing with their co-workers, business partners, friends, & family.
