As a small business owner, every single date on our calendar matters! We wanted to share a quick friendly reminder about why we require a downpayment to secure your slot, even if your event is several months away.😊
In the past, we’ve held dates without a deposit, declined other eager clients for that same day, only for the original order to be cancelled at the last minute. This left us with empty calendar slots and missed opportunities to serve other amazing customers.
To prevent this from happening and to keep things transparent and fair:
💛First Paid, First Reserved: A slot is only officially booked once the downpayment is received. Without a deposit, the date remains open to others.
🧡Fairness Across the Board: This policy applies to everyone without exception, including long-time clients, friends, and family!😊
🩷Unsecured Slots: If a downpayment isn’t made within the given holding window, the slot automatically becomes available for the next client in line.
Securing your downpayment allows us to properly plan ahead, buy ingredients and supplies on time, and dedicate our full attention to making your special day perfect.
