'IT'S NOT VERY HARD TO BE KIND' 🤗

A netizen shared a story that moved the hearts of the online community.

Mariz Agento posted on Facebook her "very hassle delivery" transaction from Malibay to Hidalgo, Pasay. According to her, the order arrived at around 10 PM, about two hours after booking.

"The rider worriedly texted me, that he lost his signal and that I have to wait for a few more minutes. He texted, 'W8 lng po... Pacencya na kc hnd ko po maopen yung apps inaayus ko pa po... Hnd ko rin kc kabisado yung lugar.' He then called me to assure me that my delivery will arrive, it’s just that he’s not too familiar with the location," Mariz wrote.

The rider sincerely apologized for the hassle, the uploader said.

"I have all the time to be angry and put pressure to the man, but I didn’t... I patiently waited and replied him the exact directions on how to go to my place even without using waze and when he finally arrived, he kept on apologizing for the inconvenience," she added.

Mariz said she was excited to meet the rider to accept his "sincere" apology. She then paid the rider a triple amount than what was indicated in the app. The rider was shocked and thanked Mariz multiple times.

"You see, it’s not very hard to be kind. We must do it often 🥰... Delivery riders are humans too. They deserve to be respected and they make our lives hassle-free in terms of delivery," Mariz said. (Facebook/Mariz Agento)
