Sakana MAKI SUSHI Japanese food inspired Filipino cuisine. Our version of maki is name SAKANA MAKI. Sakana in Japanese term means "fish" or seafood.

"SAKANA MAKI" is the name of the product our group has created; this product conforms the objective of the group which is to provide a quality sushi dessert which can complete with the taste of the existing sushi in a high class Japanese restaurant. It provide a much healthier and affordable option to its consumers by using this root vegetable which is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and dieta

ry fiber that are essential for optimal health. The group also aims to change the current market demand of tomato, tilapia as to help the farmers and fisherman which are living in complacement ground of poverty. Our proposed site location is near beside the Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School fronting the main streets of Velez which is one of the busiest places here in the City of Cagayan de Oro City. The concept of Maki, the art of its process and preparation are Japanese in nature. However, the group was inspired to conceptualize its Filipino version, a more innovative product maximizing the abundance of our local products.

Introduction:

Japanese has given our country a worst nightmare during their invasion. Thousand had died, abuses were everywhere, and these caused Filipino's fear to this invading foreigner. On the positive side, Japanese has given us positive influences that even this cyber generation benefited. The fad of anime, cosplay, and other fashion trends are just some of the nominal influences that Filipinos embraced.

More than that, the influence of Japanese cuisine had captured palatal sensitivity of pinoy. Thus, there are so many successful Japanese restaurants that have been thriving to success in food business competition in the country. To mention some of the Japanese foods that have been known other than ramen(noodles), sashimi (raw fish dip in sauce), etc is MAKI SUSHI. This serves as appetizer or could be taken snack or even light meal to those who are on diet and looking for a quit healthy food option.. :-)

Maki is a type of sushi roll that includes toasted seaweed nori rolled around vinegar -flavoured rice various fillings, including raw seafood and vegetables. The word Maki means "roll". MAKI SUSHI comes in different varieties and forms. However, the author conceptualized more distinct MAKI maximizing local ingredients with more health benefits..
