Chef Mong’s Boneless Lechon started with humble beginnings as a foodie in the city of Butuan in Mindanao. 31-year old "Chef Mong” grew up in the food and restaurant industry, belonging to an extended family who operated various food businesses. He was finding his own path to business by testing several concepts with varying degrees of success - it turns out his best product was a result of his pas
sion for cooking. In the cherished Filipino tradition of offering food for special events, Chef Mong started making his boneless lechon only for friends and family back in 2012. Succulent and perfectly seasoned tender meat complimented by an incomparable crisp crackling skin - his hobby soon became a bonafide small business as his product quickly became the toast of Butuan and word started spreading and demand was quickly building around his uniquely delicious product. In his first three months of business, Chef Mong delivered over a thousand kilos (a Ton!) of his delicious creations from his small operation in Butuan and to his pleasant surprise, orders were coming in from throughout the Philippines! In order to deliver the best boneless lechon experience to his adoring customers, Chef Mong has now implemented a nationwide expansion program, currently with branches in Luzon and Mindanao, with an eye for more! Chef Mong continues to pursue his delicious craft with passion and excellence, striving to bring his Signature Boneless Lechon to more and more families and let them try for themselves… a crispy experience beyond compare!
