It has been one week since an incident occurred at our café involving individuals employed in public service. During this incident, members of our staff were subjected to verbal abuse.
We wish to state unequivocally that we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, harassment, or misconduct directed at our employees. As a result of this incident, the individuals involved are no longer permitted on our premises. While there may be attempts to dispute the events, the incident was recorded on our CCTV system, including audio.
Those who serve in public roles are entrusted with upholding a high standard of professionalism and conduct. Behavior that undermines respect and civility not only impacts private establishments but may also reflect on the institutions they represent.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both our team and our customers. The dignity, safety, and well-being of our staff are non-negotiable.
