It’s OFFICIAL! KATSUNIDAN is SIGNING OFF!
Alot has happened since Katsunidan started from my home kitchen back in 2022, to the street stalls around Bocaue and Sta. Maria, to having a somewhat permanent place at Plaza Centralle last year.
Due to unforeseen events and circumstances, Katsunidan had ceased operations last August 2024, with hopes of opening at a different location. It was just supposed to be a short ‘hiatus’, while getting ready and setting things in order. Life has a way of changing things, and decisions had to be made. I decided to end Katsunidan’s run. I moved out of the country to pursue a long lost career and to fulfill a wish my late father, my late grandmother and mother once had for me.
The truth is, Katsunidan was made for the purpose of serving its customers with something unique, with a kind of service that is unexpected from a simple stall, to inspire innovation for others in the same field, just as it has inspired me to create a menu that gets your hard earned money’s worth. To serve with a genuine smile. To spread warmth and happiness.
With that being said, I felt that Katsunidan had met its goal, although somewhat short lived.
The lessons I have learned, from the sleepless nights, to back breaking days, through constant pressure and time consuming hours, was all worth it.
Because all of you made it worth it.
I have all of you to thank. From my friends and family who have supported Katsunidan from the start. To loyal customers who have been supporting Katsunidan through storms and economical difficulties. To its Staff that came and went. To my colleagues that dreamt the same dreams that I had and are still out there day and night to pursue it. To all that enjoyed what Katsunidan had to offer. It ment so much. It still means so much.
I have nothing but gratitude and love for you all.
