Para sa marami sa atin noon, lechon manok was never just pagkain.
It was a reward, a celebration, a sign na may espesyal na nangyari sa pamilya.

Noon, hindi basta basta nabibili ang lechon manok.
It only showed up kapag may birthday, may bonus, o may dahilan para magsaya.

Sa bawat amoy nito, may kasamang kilig at excitement.
In our young minds, it meant abundance, kahit sandali lang.

Lechon manok became a symbol of the things we once dreamed of but could not easily afford.
Mga simpleng bagay na dati pangarap lang, pinaghihintayan, pinagdadasal.

Fast forward to today, one click lang and nasa harap na natin ang dating luxury.
What once felt impossible is now part of an ordinary day.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pagkain.
It is about growth, survival, and quiet victories we rarely talk about.

Ang lechon manok ngayon ay paalala na may mga bagay palang dati nating tinitingala, na kaya na pala nating abutin.

Kids from the 1990s will never forget how special lechon manok was. Back then, it wasn’t just food—it was a celebration.
We only got to savor its smoky, savory goodness during special occasions, when the aroma alone made our mouths water and hearts leap with excitement.
