Speaker Bojie Dy and House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos pushing House Bill 9327— the Mental Health Voucher Act - is an absolute game-changer!

For the longest time, therapy and psychiatric meds have been treated like a luxury only the rich can afford, leaving low- and middle-income Pinoys to just "quietly suffer."

Sandro literally hit the nail on the head: “Mental health care should not be a privilege."

What makes this bill an absolute win is the structured voucher system under PhilHealth.

Tiered Packages:

From basic outpatient anxiety consultations to comprehensive chronic care.

Actual Subsidies: Covering up to 15 psychiatric consultations, 12 therapy sessions, and a monthly medication allowance.

By securing a dedicated Mental Health Fund Pool using sin taxes and the GAA, this shows the Marcos administration is actually listening to the youth, struggling parents, and everyday workers.

No more toxic "tiisin mo lang" culture!
