Open to : Artists from Bayawan, Basay and Santa Catalina
Venue: Mama Talipapa Beach Club, Barangay Suba, Bayawan City
Calling all aspiring music artists and songwriters. The CATIPO office in partnership with Belltower Project and Cuadernoss is having a Youth Songwriting and music workshop, the workshop is free off-charge but only those who pass the screening can join. The venue for the workshop and date will be posted at a future date.
Requirements:
- Open to individuals residing in the MetroBayawan Area
- Ages from 15 - 30 years old
- Must be able to join the entire 3-day duration of the workshop
For Singer-Songwriters
- must have written at least 1 original composition
- songs must be written in Bisaya, Filipino, or English. Songs written in other languages must have English/Filipino translations.
- must be able to sing/perform their own composition
-Must perform their own original song preferably with an accompaniment (live or recorded). A capella performance will also be allowed
- must prepare 3 copies of the lyrics of their own composition.
For Musicians
- must have their own instrument (for drummers, a drum set will be provided during the screening)
- open to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, and percussionists (if other instruments please specify)
- must be able to play their instruments during the screening.
- must prepare a 2-min performance/demo
