Ilocos Norte is officially placed under GCQ with heightened restrictions effective today, July 23, until July 31, 2021.

President R. Duterte, through the recommendation of the IATF, has approved our request to reinstate GCQ in our province to control the alarming spike of COVID-19 cases.

However, cities and municipalities that have been classified as MECQ before this proclamation will remain status quo.

Kakailian, let us all do our share to bring down the number of our active cases. For everyone's information, attached is our province's amended GCQ guidelines.[A]
