NAME: Bab n' Ramen
The Most Affordable Sam-G in Candon and the most authentic so far.

LOCATION: Near Guanzon and Don Philip, National Highway San Juan, Candon City Ilocos Sur

SERVICE: The Owners are so Friendly, they are fast in assisting customers.

AMBIANCE: The Place gives you the feel of Home, makes you comfortable. Their place is very suitable for Sam-G because it is Airy, open and well ventilated. You will go out and still smelling fresh unlike other Sam-G places that you will go out smelling like grilled meat πŸ˜…

FOOD: They Have Rice Toppings, Legit Authentic Korean Ramen, Korean Starters and ofcourse their Sam-G, very fresh meat which tastes really different compared to other Sam-G Houses in town. Their side dishes are also tasty and authentically Korean. It is not surprising because their Chef and Owner worked and was trained in Korean Palace in Baguio City-a very famous Sam-G House in Baguio.
THUMBS UP to my NEW FAVORITE SAM-G HOUSE here in Ilocos Sur.

PERFECT FOR: Barkada and Family Gatherings, Reunion or typical food trips.

FACILITY/AMENITIES: Just enough parking space. No Wifi but great mobile signal.

LOCATION: 126 Talogtog, Candon City, Ilocos Sur

SERVICE: Friendly and accommodating Staff. . Surprised to see that my talented friend works there - Welfare.

AMBIANCE: Very relaxing place. Rustic looking from the Outside but modern as you go inside. They both have indoor and outdoor spaces. Your choice if you want to sit on the couch comfortably inside or Sit on the outdoor chairs and tables. Very clean and well made spaces.
Very clever placing a big mirror inside to make it look like spacious πŸ‘

FOOD: They have Hot and Iced Coffee Drinks to choose from. Pasta and Desserts.

PERFECT FOR: Loners, Dating Couples and Small Groups.

FACILITY/AMENITIES: Fast Wifi, Comfy Seats, Huge Parking Space, There is also a Tennis Court right behind it, perfect place to relax after playing.

NAME: J&J Hanging Resto & Catering Services

LOCATION: Jonathan Molina Building , Nat’l Highway, San Nicolas, Candon City, Ilocos Sur

SERVICE: Good. Being there twice, the servers are corteous and attentive. Even the owners wpukd greet you :)

AMBIANCE: So Refreshing and really airy. Makes you want to stay longer and relax because of their garden and City overlooking view.

FOOD: They got 4 Items on their Menu.
Their Chicken and Egg Dum Biryani is in Pakki Method, meaning the meat and rice are cooked separately.
I assume they used powdered form of Cumin or Shahee Jeera and Cinnamon, as i cant see them mixed in the rice like the traditional way. Only the Star Anise and Bayleaf is what i saw that is mixed in the rice.
The spiciness for me is lacking, i hope they ask for Spicy level for people to choose from :)
Their Salad is great pero "bitin" i wanted More :D
Generally Their Chicken & Egg Dum Biryani is a Fusion, 'cause they used a whole leg part of a Chicken and it is grilled.
Great fusion. I still loved it!

PERFECT FOR: Family and Barkada Hangouts and for Chillin. Better look after your kids if you want to bring them. The place is really elevated.

FACILITY/AMENITIES: No designated parking space during daytime but you can park by the road. More parking spaces during after work. No wifi (i guess) but the Network signals are great.

SERVICE: Very Friendly and Hands On Owner. You can see no Doubt that he is Highly trained. I was looking at him as he makes the drinks and present the Cake. He really is concentrated.

AMBIANCE: Really Cozy place. You are staying indoors but gives you a feeling of being outdoors.

FOOD: Their Drinks are made with Sophistication, Elegance and awesome presentation. Tastes awesome! Really Great!

LOCATION: Daldagan, Galimuyod, Ilocos Sur (Right after Galimuyod Arch)

SERVICE: Delivers the Food just right. Not taking too long (so far when i Visited Twice)

AMBIANCE: Vibrant and Airy.
I really love the place, Colorful, with clean and fresh air. All you can see by the window is the sky. Really refreshing.

FOOD: Asian Theme. Mostly HK and Japanese as i look through their menu.

Gonna try the other Rice bowls for now :)

SERVICE: Friendly Staff - they got Proper Etiquette. They are well versed with their menu when i asked them. They also make sure they got the orders right and served fast. They serve politely πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
They also take feedbacks right after meal which is really good for more improvements.

AMBIANCE: Very Instagrammable. Airy, fresh and clean. Really really Nice and Comfy place

FOOD: Quality Food both the Taste and the Looks. (See individual food images for my feedbacks)

PERFECT FOR: Small group, for friends hangout or family. They got larger tables. Also good for dating or for a serious talk with someone, the place is really spacious, you can talk about all secrets if ever 😁

AMBIANCE: AWESOME! Very relaxing space. Clean and Comfy. I can stay here all day 😁.

FOOD: More on Breakfast, and Drinks.
Hope they would add fries and Sandwiches 😁 (update: now they have it)

PERFECT FOR: Small group meeting or bonding. Also good for business meeting tried it once.

FACILITY/AMENITIES: Comfy Couch to accommodate group, most of their tables are good for drinking 'cause it is really low. If you want to eat comfortably sit beside the wall mounted tables. With Wifi Connection and Nice Clean Comfort Room.

I've tried eating Samgyup in Sta Cruz, San Jose Candon, Caburao Santiago and San Esteban Ilocos Sur, Urdaneta City and Dagupan City Pangasinan, even Baguio but this kimchi so far is ONE of the best that i have tasted. So unexpected...

I hope the Samgyup houses would get Kimchi from them. That would be an awesome match for sure.
