Moon So Bright

Moon so bright,
Dark yet light.

Even if you frown,
You’ll be alright.

Show your smile—
Maybe not tonight.

You will be okay,
Even when you’re not alright.

So You Mean Its Better to Drink Moderately Instead?🤭✌️

Studies now show that binge-watching short videos — on TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts — can harm focus, memory, and impulse control up to five times more than moderate alcohol use. Each clip gives a quick dopamine hit, training your brain to crave instant rewards instead of long-term satisfaction.

This constant stimulation weakens your ability to focus on deeper tasks like studying, reading, or working. The more you scroll, the harder it becomes to enjoy anything that takes patience or effort.

Experts say detoxing your mind by setting limits, taking “dopamine breaks,” or engaging in slow-reward activities can help rewire your brain for balance and attention.

Congratulations!

IFUGAO RUNNER IS CHAMPION OF ALTRA 100 MILES 2025
Send you congratulations to Bryan Jay P. Mundiguing of Ifugao!

What a weekend for the Cordillera trail running scene! Local runner Bryan Jay P. Mundiguing just pulled off an insane feat, crossing the finish line first in the grueling Altra 100 Miles Mountain Run. Yes, you read that right 100 miles of brutal mountain trails, steep climbs, and crazy weather, and Mundiguing did it all in 43 hours and 30 minutes.

The race kicked off last Thursday, August 21, at the picturesque Banaue Ethnic Village – a peaceful setting that quickly turned into the starting point for one of the toughest endurance challenges in the country.

The Altra 100 throws runners into a wild, up-and-down journey through Ifugao and Mountain Province. And when we say “up,” we mean climbing serious peaks:

Mt. Napulauan in Hungduan, standing tall at over 2,642 MASL

Mt. Amuyao in Barlig, touching 2,702 MASL

These aren’t your weekend jog hills – these are steep, punishing climbs that test not just your legs but your lungs and grit.

Mundiguing’s win is more than just a medal. It’s a story of hometown pride – an Ifugao runner taking on one of the toughest races in the country and coming out on top. He didn’t just beat the distance; he beat exhaustion, elevation, and every mental battle that comes with running two straight days on mountain trails.

The Altra 100 isn’t for the faint-hearted. It’s a four-day event (August 21–24) featuring distances of 100 miles, 60 km, 25 km, and 10 km – all showcasing the rugged beauty of the Cordilleras. But make no mistake, the 100-mile category is where legends are made and Bryan Jay just earned his spot.
