We heard that around 34 families were affected by the recent landslide in Itogon, so we decided to visit and extend whatever help we could.

📍 Sitio Tollebeng, Itogon, Benguet

Despite everything that happened, the affected families welcomed us with warm smiles and grateful hearts. ❤️ It was a humbling reminder that even in difficult times, kindness and community can make a difference.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected.

As the feature beautifully put it, Café by the Ruins is like a friend in Baguio that you must visit when you go—a place to return to, feel at home, and enjoy good food.

Café by the Ruins began in 1988 and has since been passed on to the next generation, carrying with it a legacy rooted in good food, heritage, and community. Through the years, we continue to uphold our reputation for serving wholesome, healthy, and organic dishes. We remain committed to serving the best of each season—using fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients while preserving the traditions and values that have made Café by the Ruins a part of Baguio’s story.
