THE WEATHER MAY BE CHALLENGING, BUT WE KEEP GOING.

Baguio’s weather has been a big challenge, especially for a small alfresco café like Café Kafagway. We experienced some damage and had to close for a few days to ensure the safety of our staff and guests.

But above all, we are grateful that everyone is safe. 🙏

We may be struggling, but we continue to move forward. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Every visit means so much to a small, local business like ours.

MORE THAN A CAFÉ — A CREATIVE BAGUIO EXPERIENCE

At Café Kafagway, we want every visit to be more than just a meal. We want you to slow down, connect with nature, create something with your hands, and bring home a beautiful memory of Baguio.

Alongside our alfresco garden dining, we are bringing more DIY activities and creative workshops into our space.

Love plants and nature? Try our DIY Kokedama and create your own little piece of living art.

We also host scheduled creative experiences such as Kintsugi, pottery, candle-making, botanical painting, and other workshops in collaboration with local artists and creatives. New workshop schedules will be announced very soon!

After all, visiting Baguio is not only about the cool weather, beautiful scenery, and good food. It is also about experiencing the city's creativity, culture, art, and community.

Baguio is recognized as a UNESCO Creative City, and in our own little way, Café Kafagway hopes to be a space where food, nature, art, and creativity come together.

ARROZ CALDO — NOW AVAILABLE THIS SEPTEMBER AT CAFÉ KAFAGWAY!

When Baguio gets cold, misty and rainy, nothing beats a hot bowl of Arroz Caldo—simple, hearty and comforting. Parang yakap sa malamig na panahon.

What makes ours extra special?
Our chicken is cooked separately with ginger and herbs, allowing it to develop a richer, more aromatic flavor before it is served with our warm and comforting congee/lugaw. Every spoonful brings together tender chicken, soothing rice and the familiar warmth of ginger.
