A Proud Moment for Negros. 🤎💛
With the recent announcement of Maestro Nunelucio “Nune” Alvarado as a National Artist for Visual Arts, we at Hardwood Cafe feel an even deeper sense of pride and honor as fellow Negrenses.
For many years, we have admired and believed in Sir Nune’s extraordinary talent, creativity, and contribution to the arts. His work has always carried the stories, identity, and spirit of our people.
Featured in this photo is one of Hardwood’s treasured collections from his iconic Nawong Series, a piece we are proud to have in our collection. His art has always been more than something beautiful to look at; it is a reflection of culture, community, and the soul of Negros.
Today, we celebrate not only a great artist, but a pride of Negros whose talent has now been recognized at the highest national level.
Congratulations, Maestro Nune Alvarado! 🏆🎨
Your achievement is an honor to all of us Negrenses.🎉👏
From all of us at Hardwood Cafe ☕️ we are proud to have believed in and supported your art through the years.
Proudly Negrense. Proudly Hardwood. 🤎💛
