“PEANUT BUTTER FOR A CAUSE:
A fund raising project for Mayette Coros Quiñones’ Brain Tumor Operation”

Hello everyone!

Last July 2022, my sister Mayette Coros Quiñones Mayette Quiñones was admitted at East Avenue Medical Center after experiencing seizure and severe head ache. After undergoing series of tests (MRI, X-Ray, EEG, CT Scan, Ultrasounds, and other laboratory tests), she was diagnosed with Meningioma.

September 2022, she was rushed again to the hospital because of seizure and severe headache. After laboratory tests, it was confirmed that her tumor has an enhancing mass.

Furthermore, the doctors concluded that all the symptoms she had experienced were because of her tumor and the long term use of her prescribed medicine would make her blind, paralyze, and other complications could arise.

She was referred to a Neurosurgeon in PGH for second opinion and through the assessment of her neurologist, she was advised to undergo Brain Surgery.

With this, on behalf of our family, I am humbly knocking on your kind hearts and asking for your prayers and support our “Peanut Butter for a Cause”. All proceeds will go towards her medical expenses and help her on her brain surgery. Thank you for your support.
