Now, this is a very good reason why we do reservations on fridays, weekends and holidays. Just cause people din’t get their way, they will talk sh** about you to bring the place down.
Like these lovely human beings right here for instance, though they were seated and finished their food, they complained about almost everything. They came in with no reservation whatsoever, immediately gave us lowkey attitude and expects us to serve them at once, and complained about the table we gave them (which they also moved out to another reserved table, which we also let slide by the way)
Entitled people giving us hate because they cant go first, or they din’t get to seat on where they want or when at times we’re sold out.
Look, if you’re nice enough and polite to respect our rules and other diners and customers, we will do our best to accommodate. We can’t just serve you first, right in front of other customers who take our reservation rule seriously.
It’s not that we’re “mayabang” or “maangas” or anything. We are a small place with limited seating capacity, small batch with not a lot food to sell, we prioritise reservations on Friday’s and weekends to ensure food and seats are allocated properly. Yes we get upset. We get upset because when our reservations arrive, seats are taken by walk in customers, when our reservations arrive, we’re almost out of food. The ones who took the time to reserve seats and food, end up waiting for seats and scrapping the menu for food. It makes us feel bad when we cant prioritise our guest who prioritise us by making reservations.
We’re trying to serve everyone. Even if we go out of our way.
We’re just a neighbourhood place. we are nothing but normal. We’re not claiming anything out of the ordinary. We’re not the best. We’re not the worst. We’re just happy to feed people who get us.
