For some, success is when they acquire what they want to have (including, but not limited to, material wants: house, cars, clothing, Spratly Island, etc.)

For others, becoming what they want to be (e.g. a doctor, lawyer, public servant, business owner, artist, chef, writer, pro-athlete, president, etc.)

Or when they can do what they want to do (e.g. visiting the Maldives, learning another language, sky diving, witnessing the Aurora Borealis, serving people, etc.)

Whatever the case may be, the success we want comes from the small things we do every day. Success is a series of small wins (even losses).

The term "Cordon Bleu", refers to the wide blue ribbon worn by members of the highest order of knighthood, The Order of the Holy Spirit, instituted by Henri III of France in 1578. By extension, the term has since been applied to food prepared with a very high standard and to outstanding cooks.

The analogy no doubt arose from the similarity between the sash worn by the knights and the ribbons (generally blue) of a cook's apron."
