Open Call: Two-Month Artist Residency at Ang Nuno Art Gallery Angono Rizal philippines.
Ang Nuno Art Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for its Two-Month Artist Residency Program, inviting two artists—local and international—to immerse themselves in a period of research, experimentation, and creative production in the field of Folk Arts and culture

This residency is designed to support artists who are interested in developing new ideas, engaging with the local arts community, and presenting new work in a culminating exhibition.

Residency Focus:
Artistic research and creative development
Studio-based practice and experimentation
Artist talk and public engagement
Final exhibition showcasing work created during the residency

What We Provide;
Dedicated studio space throughout the two-month residency
Opportunity to present a solo or shared exhibition at Ang Nuno Art Gallery
Professional support from local angono artists during the residency and exhibition:

Eligibility:
Applications are open to all artists, both local and international, working in any medium or discipline. Emerging, mid-career, and established artists are encouraged to apply.
Two artists will be selected for this residency.

Application Requirements:
Applicants should submit:
Artist statement
Curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé
Portfolio (up to 10 images or relevant documentation)
Residency proposal outlining the research and creative project to be developed during the residency

Selection Criteria:
Applications will be evaluated based on:

Artistic quality and originality
Strength of the proposed research and project
Potential for meaningful engagement with the residency
Feasibility of completing the proposed work within two months

Application Deadline: October 2026
Residency Period: December 2026 - January 2027
