Today, an elderly man came to dine with us. He sat quietly, all by himself, and ordered a simple Chicksilog meal.

As I was supervising the restaurant, I noticed him looking at me. I don’t know his story, but seeing him eat alone on Father’s Day touched my heart.

I felt that today, more than ever, no father should feel forgotten. So we prepared a little surprise—an extra serving of food and a warm cup of coffee, on the house.

It wasn’t much, but I hope it reminded him that someone cared today.

To all the fathers who celebrate quietly, especially those spending today alone, may you know that you are appreciated, valued, and loved.
