Leyte has stories worth raising a cup for.

Introducing 𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧: 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐞, K.ape Café & Bistro’s recognition space for Alangalanganons and Leyteños who bring honor home through competitions, milestones, and achievements beyond our province.

In Waray, dungog means honor, and kalduhan means cup. For us, it is the name carried by every student, artist, athlete, creator, professional, and community member who steps onto a bigger stage and makes Leyte proud.

Soon, their names and stories will have a place at K.ape.

A Filipino–Brazilian fusion, shaped after our Media and Marketing team joined the UN Climate Change Conference in Brazil last November 2025. Bringing home new ideas, now served as our Coco Custard at Kape Cafe and Bistro.

The lights may be out for a few hours today, but the kitchen stays moving.

A scheduled power interruption will run from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During this time, K.ape Café & Bistro remains open for takeaway orders.

Cold drinks, frappes, pastries, pasta, and our Thai menu will be available. Hot drinks will pause while the power is out.

Once electricity returns at 6:00 PM, the café goes back to full service and stays open until midnight.

Drop by if you’re nearby and craving something good.
