Kruella Stories #03

They say, “Your college friends may know who you are, but your high school friends know why you are that way.”

Meet Chean and Joana—two from the long list of Kruella’s high school constants! They knew each other when there were only pebbled roads in San Juan, and only a handful of passing tricycles, and long walks to school.

From sharing those dusty, walkable roads to navigating the complexities of adulthood, they have remained constants.

Today, they are headstrong, successful professionals, yet they never lost the shared history that grounded them.

Here’s to lasting friendships!

Kruella Stories #02

Meet Ninang Eya & Ninang Malou — our mom’s high school classmates, lifelong friends, and the original Ninangs of our older sister, Katrina Kristina. 🫶

When Katrina passed away at just 7 years old, the sisters continued calling Eya and Malou Ninang—a special title that carried a beautiful bond from their sister to them.

They have since been constant support for the sisters, together with the other Titas who have been part of their mom’s life since high school.

Some friendships become family. 🫶
