Weeks of rain. And then, just like that... this.
That’s the tropics for you. You can’t plan it, you can’t force it, and honestly, that’s part of the deal when you come to Bocas del Toro.
There are two seasons here. Flat season, when the Caribbean turns glassy, the sun shows up, and the water is yours. And wave season, when the rain rolls in, the Atlantic swell builds, and Bluff Beach becomes something else entirely.
Both are beautiful. Neither is guaranteed.
Come knowing that. Come anyway.
Because when the sun finally breaks through the jungle and hits Bluff Beach just right, there is nowhere on earth you’d rather be.

The sun came out today. After many grey days, Bluff Beach is finally doing what it does best.
And what better way to start the week than with a sunset happy hour right here.
Come this week because we also have news. We are taking a short break from September 29 to October 8, and we wanted you to hear it first.
So you still have time. Come for dinner. Come for a happy hour. Come to sit on the terrace and watch the light change over Bluff Beach one more time before we close the doors for a few days.

Today alongside our regular weekend favorite Octopus, we’re serving up a fresh lobster.
