🥳 The sausage flavour competition has officially begun! 🌭

A few weeks ago we asked for your flavour ideas, and now it’s time to put them to the test!

Our first trial flavour is:
🥩 Prime Beef with Roast Beef, Mustard, Gherkin & Cheese

Over the coming weeks we’ll be making and tasting your suggested flavours, with customers helping us decide which one deserves a permanent place in our cabinet. Next week we’ll also be trialling Lamb & Mint!

Pop into the shop tomorrow between 10am and 1pm, have a taste, tell Steve what you think, and help us crown our winning sausage flavour.

🆕 You asked, we listened! 🥩🌭🍔

A few weeks ago we asked for your flavour ideas, and we’re excited to start trialling them!

🌭 Our first new sausage flavour is Prime Beef with roast beef, mustard, gherkin and cheese.

🍔 We’ve also introduced our new Prime Beef burger patties with a delicious hamburger seasoning for even more flavour.

These are small trial batches, so we’d love your feedback. If they’re a hit, they could become permanent favourites!

We’ve had a few customers asking about halal meat.

Our abattoir does not provide halal processing, so we aren’t able to supply halal-certified meat.

If you’re looking for halal-certified New Zealand meat, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has information on approved export processing plants and halal assurance programmes.

We hope this helps point you in the right direction.

🍔 Meet the BBB… Baby Bald Butcher! 👨‍🍳🐂

Steve’s got a little helper in the kitchen today! Together they whipped up some homemade crumbed chicken burgers using our fresh chicken, and they looked pretty tasty too. 😋

Looks like the next generation is already learning the trade. We’d say the Baby Bald Butcher is doing a pretty good job! ❤️
