Well folks, that’s a wrap!
We are excited to let you know that Colenso’s new owners are taking the reins next week!
A lovely local family will be stepping in to be the custodians of this wonderful property and we expect that they will both honor the history of Colenso and inject some new life and love! Best of all, they are planning to reopen the cafe in October some time so you will once again get to enjoy the beautiful gardens, some delicious food and great coffee.
We’d like to dearly thank all the wonderful customers & community who have supported us over the years - many of whom we have been privileged to get to know well; our amazing suppliers and partners who have never let us down and are master artisans - the world is a better place with your talent and dedication to your craft; the dedicated and talented team members who have spent time with us (including some very lovely and fun-loving backpackers who always arrived with big smiles and open hearts) - we could not have done anything without you; and of course our family who have always been there to support and help when needed - you rock!
Colenso will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are lucky to have had this experience and to take some great memories with us as we embark on our next adventure.
