CONCEDED 99GHOSTS DEATH PORTAL & PSYCH-SHOW

Whats on the line for the bands you ask? Apart from ultimate bragging rights prizes include a thousand dollar cash prize from us at Beer & Loathing plus a single recording with CreativeLab Studio we also have some vouchers from the rock shop to give to first and second place!

You as a customer can also win the epic gutair pictured! Voting has closed for the redemption round but if you tag a mate that should come throw down in the mosh pit with you we will chuck your name in the draw to win the guitar (if youve already got your name in the draw from voting for redemption then still tag a mate and we will chuck your name in twice for being a team player!)

Theres also plenty of other goodies and special treats to look forward to on the night!

This years battle of the bands "Nu" kids on the block are looking forward to giving the old boys a run for their money. They've competed in and received podium finishes at smokefree rockquest and they're looking forward to bringing their nu metal/ slam metal skills to the competition tonight for heat 2 of battle of the bands!

THE FREQUENCIES joins Battle of the Bands this Friday!

The Frequencies, formally known as 'Andre Gomesz & The Frequencies', is a shape-shifting collective led by Andre, blending progressive and psychedelic rock, blues, funk and soul with improvisation and a strong live energy.

For Battle of the Bands, Andre is joined by Grant Tromp on drums and Smith Marks on bass and keys, with the possibility of a special guest artist appearance from previous band ventures.

The band’s set is driven primarily by original songs written by Andre, alongside a few covers reimagined in the band’s own style. Their performances are built on musical connection—listening, responding and allowing the music to evolve naturally in the moment.

Expect strong grooves, dynamic musicianship, expressive vocals and a willingness to take the music somewhere unexpected.

No two Frequencies performances are ever the same.
