Don’t panic - we’re not really going anywhere but we are changing days in a couple of weeks.

Now that that’s out the way - here’s our menu for 28th July at Porridge Watson 30 Drew’s Ave (3pm til 8pm):

🌮$10 Tacos:

🥩Birria Beef tacos with cheese, salsa, onion, and consommé (broth)
🍗Spicy Fried chicken with rocoto sweet chilli, sesame slaw, pickled red onion, kewpie aioli, and coriander
🌵Cactus Tinga with iceberg lettuce, toasted cumin, pickled red onion and coriander

SPECIALS:
🐟Beer battered kingfish with feta and red onion slaw, rocoto mayo, roast capsicum chimichurri, and micro radish $14

🍟Cajun seasoned fries with our signature chipotle aioli - $10

EMPANADAS!

We only sell these at the Whanganui River Markets. These little parcels are one of our most popular items because they’re filled with the most delicious meats, spices, veggies, and cheese.

Today’s flavours are:
🥩Birria Beef and Cheese
🍗Smokey BBQ Chicken and Cheese
🎃Pumpkin, Tomato, Nopales and Cheese

Of course, they definitely need to be paired with our popular chipotle aioli!

Our Loaded Sandwich (Torta) is a two in one meal - braised beef or chipotle chicken inside a cheese parcel, on lettuce, tomato, and pickled onion sandwiched between our home made telera rolls with chipotle aioli and lime crema.

Then, once you’ve scoffed your sandwich and dropped all the filling over the corn chips, you’ve basically got a wee nacho snack!

Chunky and meaty kingfish dunked in a Kererū beer batter, and fried til crispy.
Served on authentic corn tortillas made in the Hawkes Bay with roasted capsicum chimichurri, red onion and feta slaw, rocoto mayo, and micro radish.

Deep flavours and a little spice to warm you up for winter. $13
