Kia Orana, welcome to Mrs B´z a family-owned and operated Cook Island inspired food business. Firstly I would like to introduce myself, My name is Cara and I am from the island of Aitutaki and also a Te Atihaunui-a-paparangi girl from right here in Wanganui. My husband who works behind the scenes with me is John and he comes from the Islands of Aitutaki and Mangaia in the Cook Islands. Together we
own Kuki Kollective Ltd/Mrs B´z. The name Mrs B´z originates from our late mother a loving mother, grandmother, a staunch Mangaian Vaine(woman), and a beautiful cook. I was blessed to have been taught her famous Mainese (cook island potato salad). Our recipes are family-owned or recipes I have altered just enough to keep the integrity of the dish while putting our very own flare on. We at Mrs B´z believe in staying as local as possible so we do source as much of our produce as we can from locally owned suppliers. But we also want to deliver affordable kai for everyone and we believe we truly do deliver that.
