⚠️ WANGANUI BUSINESSES — PLEASE BE AWARE

We would like to share our recent experience with an Uber delivery driver and encourage other local businesses to be aware of this situation.

Our store was extremely busy, and unfortunately, one Uber order was slightly delayed. The driver then left our business a 1-star review on our Google page, despite the review being related to a delivery delay rather than the actual products or service provided to our customers.

After checking the profile, we noticed that the same person appears to have left similar negative reviews for other local businesses as well.

We work extremely hard every day to provide good service to our customers and delivery drivers. We understand that delays can be frustrating, especially when a store is busy, but leaving a damaging public review because an Uber order was delayed can have a real impact on a small local business.

We encourage other Wanganui businesses to be aware and share their experiences with each other.

If you believe a review is unrelated to a genuine customer experience, you can also report it through the appropriate Google review process.

Please support local businesses — we are working hard every day to keep our doors open and serve our community. ❤️
