Situated right on the main drag in the amazing Whangamata township, our gourmet burger bar is ready to crank up the grill and make you one of our awesome creations. We hand make all the patties, vegan ones too and even create our own special aioli. Come try our world famous in New Zealand burgers, with some tasty kumara chips or steak fries, wash it down with a cold one and enjoy the beautiful warm salty Whangamata air.

Firstly, we ARE open tonight, yew!!

Secondly, this week marks our 10 year anniversary since we took over the reigns at Soulburger. What was going to be just a few years has morphed into a life here and a lifestyle we’ve taken full advantage of.
We couldn’t have done it without the 120+ staff we’ve had over the last decade. Travellers and kiwis alike, people we’ll be friends with long after they’ve left. Some becoming doctors, lawyers and all the awesome things, smashing life after a little SB time.
Of course, there would be no Soulburger without all of you who have come once twice, weekly, summerly, whatever. We appreciate the amazing continued support and hope you had a wicked feed and a friendly smile.

We will be back to winter hours until the weather warms back up in December. Thurs-Sunday nights 5pm every week!
