We have very limited Crays for now, 40 servings, but if we sell pre-orders by Monday i may get more depending on stock at shop.

Well we are officially open again e te whānau… Not as we had visioned it haha… However sometimes it’s that little push you need to finally push through the barriers to serve whānau again… Big thank you to Bay of Plenty Rugby for giving us the opportunity to operate at the 18’s carnival in Te Puke… 💙💛

In saying that we will be open tomorrow in Matatā serving EVERYONE haha… We don’t discriminate…

Anyway one love whānau thank you to everyone that came and supported us today!

Arohamai e te whānau, am still doing all the mahi in the background before we can open. Covid don’t make it any easier as well… However haere tonu!

Saying a Karakia that we may be able to open on labour weekend.

Until then will continue to stock up on whitebait so we can have whitebait fritters on fried bread ready for the opening!

Today we officially bought Kai - Tiaki 2.021 🔥 Well whānau after 4 years of paying all my debts, studying, completing my bachelors and masters, having our pepi who is now 3 I have finally come out of the ngahere to bring Wharekai back to life again! To be honest I gave up hope and didn’t think we would re-open again… Firstly my credit was shot from all my ‘lessons in business’ however after doing some very hard mahi and not losing sight of the whānau and manaaki Wharekai bought we had the opportunity to purchase this girl… Soooo we will be back sharing the love very soon whānau! Nothing is going to change still delivering and Kai from the heart! Today is a day that I truly believe in miracles! Ngā mihinui whānau… 🙏✨🌙
