Our beautiful lamingtons are waiting in the cabinet at Bijou Betty’s - soft sponge, that lovely chocolate coating and a generous tumble of coconut.

Perfect with a proper cup of tea or coffee, served on the good china of course. ☕️🍰

Last but certainly not least… meet Kim 💕

The heart and soul behind Bijou Betty’s.

Kim took over the café 10 months ago and, with it, created the new Bijou Betty’s we know today. The name has a special meaning too. Kim was nicknamed “Little Betty” after her mum, and that little piece of family history became the inspiration behind Betty’s.

Kim has always loved to cook, entertain and, most of all, show people her love through food.

Her vision for Bijou Betty’s is about bringing back a little of the tradition of going out for tea or coffee and making it feel like a special occasion. Lovely cups and plates, something delicious to eat and, of course, there should always be cake. 🍰☕️

For Kim, Betty’s is about creating a place where people feel welcome, where food is made with love and where catching up over a cuppa can still feel like something special.

And that’s our Little Betty. 💗

Meet Courtney 🤍

Courtney is one of the youngest members of the Bijou Betty’s team, fitting in her shifts around high school and already thinking about what life might look like beyond the classroom.

She’s got a few ideas up her sleeve, with real estate, tourism and becoming a flight attendant all on the list. ✈️

For now, you’ll find her here at Betty’s, on weekends, learning the ropes, working alongside the team and serving plenty of familiar faces.

We reckon she’s got an exciting future ahead of her, wherever it takes her.
