We had a record cold spell overnight at -7.7c this morning. But cool nights mean sunny days as we work in the vineyard for the next grape season. Our restaurant visitors receive a very warm welcome and enjoy air conditioned rooms inside with vineyard views. As pictured the Syrah / Moroccon Lamb is a great combination!

Whether you are on-piste or off-piste you can enjoy Melton Estate wine at Mt Hutt this winter. Up on the mountain you can enjoy Melton Estate Sauvignon Blanc or a Rose after a couple of runs of course.

Off the mountain try our Summer Love Sparkling at Ōpuke Thermal Pools & Spa or back toward Christchurch at Thirsty Acres or Melton Estate. Our cellar door is open for wine takeways.

Melton Estate is supporting Zonta.ch with their Winter Christmas Trail this Sunday.

At Melton Estate visit the magical Christmas Grotto, admire an antique sleigh, and enjoy the sounds and scents of Christmas thanks to The Christmas Hut . Plus we will serving our new Mulled Wine - so Christmassy!

We are raising funds for One Mother to Another and other Zonta chosen charities. Tickets are available from Zonta: https://zontachristchurch.org.nz/
