Last month we had to make the hardest call to Temporarily close our business to focus on My health & our family.

With a business just a year old we know that this decision could mean that we never see it past our second year but we also know that sometimes hard choices have to be made in order to prioritise our health and loved ones.

So, here we are re-opening with a new Winter menu with the classics & some new dishes. I am so excited about the Garlic Mushrooms but I can see the Chili being very popular too.

We will be starting free delivery direct from us to the local area so keep your eye out for details on this. We are also available on Uber Eats & (from next) week DoorDash.

We have about 6 months to give it a big push so if you like what we do & want us to keep doing it we hope to see you soon.

🌿 An Update from The Leafy Stop 🌿

Unfortunately The Leafy Stop will need to remain temporarily closed due to illness, and we will not be reopening on Wednesday 27th as we had hoped.

I’m really sorry to everyone who has been waiting for us to reopen, and I truly appreciate all of the kindness, patience and lovely messages of support over the past week.

Right now the focus is on resting and recovering properly so we can come back healthy, energised, and ready to feed you all again. 🍂

I’ll share updates as soon as I have a clearer reopening date.

Taking a Moment to Pause, Nourish, & Connect 🌿

Our tagline has always been Pause, Nourish, Connect. We believe in it for our customers, and right now, I need to make sure I’m practicing it for myself and the business, too.

To make sure we can keep bringing you the best vibes and the best service every single day we are open, we are moving to a 4-day week (Wednesday–Saturday).

As a small business, we want to ensure that we stay leafy and fresh so that we can be here for years to come. Consolidating our week also helps us run the cafe much more efficiently behind the scenes, reducing waste and keeping our operations smart.

This extra day will give us the space to truly recharge, focus on ourselves & loved ones, and ensure the business stays strong so we can better connect with all of you when the doors are open.

Our New Hours:
Wednesday – Saturday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Sunday – Tuesday: Pause.

Pink Shirt Day.

Both my children have experienced horrific bullying and seeing children in Wellington head to school with their pink Tees on gives me hope for the future.
