Another new face you might have seen around Sketchbook!
Meet Tama!
After a long stint immersing himself in the European coffee scene at places such as Five Elephant and The Barn, Tama has returned home to Aotearoa.
How long have you been in the coffee industry?
"I’ve been in coffee for 16 years. Starting in Wellington then working in London and then Berlin before recently moving back home"
What are you most excited about at Sketchbook?
"I’m looking forward to becoming more familiar with the NZ specialty coffee scene through working at Sketchbook and presenting rotating NZ coffee roasters"
Where's your favourite restaurant in Wellington?
"I’m still learning the scene but Satay Kingdom on Left bank, Cuba st was always a favourite growing up"
What are your hobbies or favorite things in life?
"I tend to hobby hop but I’m mostly a homebody nerd playing video games. Otherwise I play guitar, indoor bouldering and recently getting into photography and photo editing"
You're at Karaoke, what's your go-to song?
"Oh I’m not such a karaoke person but if I had to pick a song it’s have to be KiD CuDi - cudderisback"
